AB WORKOUT DIET WITH ROUTINE?

This sounds good. As long as you keep fatiguing your muscles on a regular basis you'll begin to see results. Assure you're doing these exercises right (research or watch a youtube video). Have you considered using a ball to do sit ups? Pilates is my FAVOURITE things for abs. It really focuses on exercises that build muscle quite fast and the core exercises are great because if done properly they assure quite flat muscles are built, not muscles that build out. You must fit some cardio in your routine. It is the best thing for burning fat. You can continue to build muscle but with out cardio (running, biking, aerobics) its going to be very hard to get rid of excess fat around your core. Even just 20-30 minutes of sweating and heavier breathing is better than nothing. Ugh spam is annoying!!! lol

How can I eat more fruit?

I would suggest that you have accidental fruit- fruit which is combined with other things you are having. For example, I will have fruit and yoghurt, or choose fruit museli bars, sometimes I will choose the snack fruits that are small and already cut up prepackaged- and make sure I have disposable spoon in my handbag so if I am somewhere, hungry and see the fruit it isn't an issue. The other trick is don't wait till you are starving. Eat fruit for afternoon tea, before you are really really hungry- you will be full and therefore skip the whole chip idea. I would recommend you start slowly, combine the fruit with a sandwich for lunch until you get into the habit of fruit in your diet. sometimes though, you don't feel like sweet... that's where the savoury sandwich comes in....

Good luck!

After which you should think of approximately one hundred twenty. yet i think of you would be satisfied at a hundred thirty five or a hundred and forty. Atkins is a loopy exciting weight loss application. You eat meat, dairy and eggs with out shrink. No calorie counting no quantity barriers. you basically steer away from the carbs answerable for weight earnings

What to eat on a low carbs diet?

Pretty much the only carbs you need in your diet is what you get from eating a lot of different colored vegetables, along with some fruit. To a lesser degree it's okay to partake of some healthy whole grains like brown rice and such, but don't go crazy with them unless you are a very active person and actually need the extra healthy calories to maintain.

Also, be sure to get enough "healthy fats" in your diet, as they actually help "balance" your body systems properly, lose weight and be overall much more healthy. To many people think all fat is bad, when in-fact it's very important to get enough of the right types daily. Dietary fat from food consumption doesn't translate to jiggly-wiggly body fat the way most people seem think it does. Processed sugars and excessive empty carbohydrates are the real villains there, not fat intake.

I need help developing a diet plan!! Help!(:?

Focus in on low carb foods. Food high in omega oil, such as avocados and nuts (NOT peanuts- those are legumes) are actually really good for you and speed up your metabolism while providing a lot of energy. Obviously veggies and protein is where you want to get most your calories from. Stay away from grains, and if you do eat grains, do whole grain wheat, amaranth, quinoa, spelt. Those are easier for your body to digest and use. Cheese and apples is a good snack, avocado with some salt and cayenne pepper, nuts and nut butters- ie, almond butter on crackers, veggies and hummus... those are just some ideas. Remember, fat is not necessarily bad for you in food.

.. your body needs fat to work properly. What does make people fat is sugar, processed foods and carbs. Hope this helps!

I need some good snacks ideas for gestational diabetes....?

The best way to keep your blood sugar under control is to eat protein with any carbohydrates (including fruit / vegetables). The protein takes longer to digest, so it slows down the release of sugar into the blood stream.

Watch your portions - a big meal greater amounts of sugar at once. Rather have half, then save the other half for when you're hungry again.

Also, try to exercise. Walking is good, if you can manage. Nothing too strenuous, obviously.

Almonds, yoghurt (unsweetened), cheese are good snacks that won't affect your blood sugar. Also, legumes like lentils or chickpeas are pretty good. You can have popcorn with hummus.

Be careful of fruit - while the vitamins are super, they will crank up your blood sugar. Eat apples with peanut butter or cheese, for example.

type 2 question problems associated with diabetes

Hello Sunshine Girl. My wife was in her late fifties when diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes. She is now 75 years old, 76 soon. She was obese, and didn't exercise. It was the hardest thing to get her out for a walk. Her doctor said-it's either diet and exercise,or you'll have to use insulin.

The choice of taking pills and dieting and exercise was a far better proposition. My wife had a heart attack on Christmas Day last year. Her second. She had major heart surgery on Jan 4th this year.

She has dropped her weight down from really heavy to under 176lbs.She walks just about every day.I tell you this because your mom can have a good life, but she needs to start dieting and exercising.Check out the diabetic recipes on the net, we eat really well, and I have lost weight to.

My wife still only uses pills, and now she's fitter than me.Good Luck!

where can i find some delious diet recipes ?

Ignore the low fat, high carb and vegan sites. Those aren't healthy and will never keep you full. They'll ensure you remain a slave to calorie counting, yo yo dieting for life and then binge or become fatter than ever before.

Choose a healthy permanent lifestyle. I suggest a moderate paleo or primal diet. You can find tons of free ones on stalkerville.net which are compiled from all around the web for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, desserts etc... Most of them are easy to make. They are delicious and you don't at all feel like you're on a diet. They are satisfying real foods.

You can learn all you need to succeed for free on marks daily apples free article how to succeed with the primal diet. I did everything from vegetarian, vegan, raw/fruitarian, juicing, macrobiotic, grapefruit and soup diets, abc, traditional calorie counting and none of them worked. This is the only thing that has and I can't recommend it enough. It doesn't at all feel like a diet. Its a permanent healthy lifestyle.

Need Some Help with Lowering My A1C Levels......kind of Scared Going to Bed?
Ask your endocrinologist about wearing a continuous glucose monitor. There is probably a CGM that is compatible with your insulin pump. The CGM will help identify patterns and help you fine tune your basal and boluses. You won't get 100 all the time, but you'll have less dramatic swings in your numbers. Most CGM's have audible alarms that you set for highs and lows. My son has type 1 and is 16 too. I'd like him to be 100 all the time too but I know that is not going to happen! You need to bring this issue up at your next endo appt and hopefully you, the doc, and your mom can discuss realistic expectations. · Related Questions What kind of diet worked best for you? I personally found it easiest to lose weight by eating vegetarian (somewhat) 6 days a week, then whatever 1 day a week. and when I say vegetarian, I mean fruits and veggies only. Normally raw. Sometimes 1/2 a cup to a cup of ice cream, sometimes a smoothie or coffee with milk. but skim or 2% milk and not very much. At the time I slept 8am to about 2 or 3 pm. So I'd go for a 30-60 min walk around 6 or 7 am and around 9 or 10 pm. That was about 4 years ago though and I lost 30lbs in 2 months. Unfortunately I went back to my old habits and put the weight back on. I've also been more into health then I was then. So now I try to eat as much fruits and veggies as possible. I drink 7-8 cups of water a day (sometimes more). Exercise. Right now dancing and the wii fit. Once weather gets nicer I'll be walking again. I try to do strength training of some sort 4 days a week (upper, abs, lower and full body). for eating I normally try and follow this though: breakfast: 30g (1/3 cup) oatmeal with fruit and either yogurt or milk OR a fruit and/or veggie smoothie After exercise snack: 2 eggs OR tuna/salmon with crackers OR toast and peanut butter OR a spinach salad with fruit and cottage cheese lunch: normally what ever is in the fridge. Normally a (mixing) bowl of fruit and/or veggies, OR sometimes ice cream and fruit dinner: I normally try for 1/2 a plate of fruits and veggies, 1/4 plate protein (1 or 2 eggs, tuna, salmon, chicken), 1/4 plate carbs (potatoes, pasta, corn) OR 1/2 a plate fruits and veggies and 1/2 a plate pasta/lasagna/meatloaf/etc Then snack on fruits and veggies throughout the day when I feel hungry, sometimes coffee, tea or broth. Then sometimes a small cup (tea cup) hot chocolate or warm milk w/ honey before bed. I normally don't eat enough fat, I have too many carbs, but I'm normally good on cals and protein. And I don't believe in cutting food out. If it's something I know I'll over eat (which in my case tends to be mac and cheese), I'll only get it when there's someone around to share it with. But it's a life style change and who would like a diet where their favourite foods are cut out? it's all about moderation. ------ What healthy things should i pick up from the store(10 points)? Brown sugar oatmeal isn;t necessarily unhealthy but it's got quite a bit of sugar in it, I would either get pure brown sugar or honey and use that to sweeten oatmeal, or buy the reduced sugar kind. I don't know if this question is geared towards just meals or snacks but as snacks I love mixed nuts and those new fiber one brownies and other sweets, they taste great and have a lot of fiber. Other than than I love canned chicken and tuna, it's a great thing to throw in a salad and it's already made so you don't need the hassle of cooking the chicken, just make sure it's canned in water not oil. Cottage cheese is really healthy, yogurt in general is very healthy for multiple reasons. You could get some of those lean cuisine meals, just check the calorie contents on the back but some of the frozen meals actually aren't that bad. I also like the Healthy Life brand low carb bread and I love cheese, so those laughing cow cheese wedges as a spread are DELICIOUS to make a sandwich. Deli turkey breast is healthy, a lot of fish is great, if I'm in a rush I'll season and stick a cod fillet or tilapia filet in the microwave and cook it that way rather than baking it. All the other things I can think of involve fruit and vegetables, but you already knew that. Good luck! ------ Does anyone else think it's really hot!? I think you're talking about the weather? If you notice that weather affects your BG levels, you need to prepare for this. You may need to reduce your basal (and perhaps bolus) insulin doses during times of very hot weather. Basal insulin is your background insulin, and bolus insulin is the insulin you take for corrections and meals, no doubt that you know that already but some may not. No 2 people are the same, and every person's body is affected differently by different things. Reducing/adjusting your insulin is a good start for days like this, but for safety reasons, *please do this with the help of your doctor or diabetes nurse specialist*. Call them, they're there to help you. You may also want to have an extra snack, and most importantly TEST MORE OFTEN so you can catch that you are dropping or lower than you'd expect for the amount of insulin that you have on board (in your system). Also, carry extra treatments for low blood glucose on you. You may want to avoid extreme exercise during these periods. You can also buy 'Solo' or 'Extend' bars, which can help. Slow acting carbs with protein are the same idea. I can understand that it can be scary, but being prepared will go a long way to make you feel more secure. If you're prepared, it's much easier to stay safe and confident. Regardless of what you decide, it's a good idea to check in with your diabetes care team. Type 1 diabetes (I assume this is what you have) can be very difficult to control, and since you are a teenager, this can make it even more challenging (hormone levels, etc.). Speak to your doctor or diabetes nurse educator, they are there for you! Good luck! ------ Is this called fat in your opinion? You sound just fine and what you're eating sounds fairly healthy, though I'd take it easy with the salt intake (ham and cheese are both fairly high in salt, and your popcorn might also be). I think Chinese tend towards high blood pressure from soy sauce and other highly salty foods. I've managed to avoid it personally and credit this to using salt rarely and using low sodium soy sauce. Whoever called you big had to have been joking. 4-7 and 92 lbs is perfectly reasonable. Exercise is always good, do some curls and sit ups and get flexible. 14 is an excellent age to get muscle and flexibility -- it will last you a lifetime. I did a lot of yoga and bicycling in my teens and now (47) I still have great legs and can still put my palms flat on the floor without bending my knees. ------ Need help with planning an overall better diet! (Please read entire question before answering)? Life isn't always fair. We are all a product of our genes. Some people don't have to do anything, and they appear to be totally ripped, meaning muscular and lean. Other people seem to be sponges for calories, and soak up everything they eat. Whatever body type you have, you can be very fit. It might require more work for people who were not born with the right genes. Your best starting point is to monitor your total calories "in" verses total calories "out" (meaning energy burned). I recommend the following web site: http://caloriecount.about.com/ This is a free site. I have done it with great success. I simply enter the foods I eat during the day, and the site estimates the calories. I also enter my activities. So if I walk for an hour, I enter that. The site will measure your calories "in" verses calories burned, and you get a pretty good idea of where you stand. If I can burn more than I eat, then I know I won't gain weight, and may eventually lose weight if I do this consistently. At one point, I was down to less than 1,000 calories a day, and that was a mistake. My body was going into "conserve mode," and my muscles were being consumed instead of fat. So don't let that happen. I think my normal intake was between 2,200 and 3,000 calories, and I was still losing weight because I was consistently either walking or doing a little weight lifting. So I was burning more than I was eating. The web site will also count your distribution between fat, carbs, and protein. And you can adjust this to make sure you are not too high on fat and carbs. Make sure you are getting enough protein. Using this method made me more conscious of what I was eating. Sometimes I would not snack because I did not want to have to enter it on my food log. Thus, it helped my self-discipline. Certain foods will not help you, such as soda-pop, fast food burgers and fries, pizza's, etc. I totally went cold turkey on all of those kinds of foods. I do not eat that stuff at all. Try to eat healthy foods, but everything in moderation. Actually, you can eat anything you want, as long as your total calorie count is lower than your output. Regarding exercise, a really brisk walk will burn almost as many calories as jogging. But walking might be easier on your joints. I do recommend getting into a habit of regular brisk walks. Get yourself an MP3 player to make your walking more enjoyable. Good luck. ------ Anorexia Recovery-- Is this a good plan? It is good to have 6 small meals a day. I know a lot of athletic people who do that. It helps to keep your metabloism up which will help with your appetite. But it can be hard for some people to find time to eat every two hours. I think that your diet sounds pretty good. You could add a little more protein.maybe more eggs, beans, or other things with protein. If you are exercising you might need to be consuming more calories a day, especially if they are high activity. That might be why you feel so weak. Also make sure you are drinking lots of water. You could also take vitamins or some time of nutritional drink. Good luck and don't over do it (:
