Is It Okay to Feed My Dog Refried Beans?

If you ask any veterinarian or breeder they will tell you that you should never feed your pet table scraps. Their internal system is not the same as our and might hurt them very much. Now on the point of throwing away leftovers, that should never be done unless its a little left on your plate then no problem if not save it for another meal. Never waist food.

1. Do you have an opinion on refried beans?

I love them - YUM! *toot*toot*

2. looking for a crockpot recipe that has hamburger, velvetta cheese, refried beans, black olives?

I am guessing that you want something like a taco soup. Brown the hamburger meat, with chopped onion, in oil. Transfer to crockpot, add refried beans, hot peppers, tomatoes. Cook for several hours, stirring occasionally, add cubed Velveeta. Serve on bed of tortilla chips, sprinkle with grated velveeta & olives.

3. Would it be ok to mix a can of refried black bean and normal refried beans?

yes, the dip will definitely turn out good!

4. Why do refried beans have dirt in them?

That's really odd. I am in Texas and every different brand that I have tried never have that dirt like feel and taste to it. I do not know if it's your state, but figure out where they are coming from. Maybe you just can not tolerate the beans. I can not drink Pepsi because it smells like dirt to me lol. Good luck and I hope you can find some kind of solution

5. What are some of your favorite ways to use dried pinto beans (besides refried beans)?

Mash cooked beans, as much as you need; on a skillet melt 1 to 3 tbsp shortening, depending on the amount of beans (lard gives it a stronger flavor; you can also use vegetable oil). When the shortening or oil are very hot, pour the mashed beans; let it bubble and stir constantly until refried beans pull away from the skillet. Enjoy!

6. How should I ask for refried beans "without the lard", in Spanish?

Refried Beans Without Lard

7. Mexi*Poll > cold beans* hot beans* fried beans* . ...refried beans* or no beans*?

hot beans

8. why does my cat like to eat refried beans?

your cat must like the flavour and it shouldnt harm her

9. Refried Beans or Baked Beans?

Baked beans are so good

10. Refried beans from a can?

They should be ready to go. No matter anyhow, after eating them is when you should be worried. You will feel like a soft chocolate ice-cream dispenser. :(

11. Isn't there a layered dip that involved ground beef, refried beans, sour cream and cheese?

sounds like a mexican 7 layer dip (missing a few layers) many people like cooking some of these to melt the cheese and such, but its not needed. you can just alternate layers of ground beef, beans, sour cream & cheese might also be nice to add salsa & guacamole, and olives but its not needed if you do not want it then just dip tortilla chips in it.

12. Recommended refried beans from the can?

My canned favorite has always been Rosarita. Their black beans, their jalapeno refried beans and their regular and vegetarian are all good

13. Can you get ill from eating uncooked refried beans?

You can get sick from anything out of a can if bacteria was introduced into the can especially from dented cans. Heating to a proper temperature MAY get rid of it though. Although in this case, you did not heat so.

14. What to make with burger, diced tomatoes, and refried beans?

Cook the hamburger with some diced onions if you have them. Season the rice with some chili powder, cumin & prepare it with the diced tomatoes. Once the rice is done mix it with the hamburger & put it in a casserole dish. Spread the refried beans on top & sprinkle with cheese. Bake till cheese is bubbly. Good to serve with some additional chopped onions, taco sauce & sour cream

15. Low Iron Level in my 2 year old.?

Try refried beans combined with some cheese, sour cream and salsa. Also, black bean soup is a delicious, healthy, iron rich food. Spinach is an iron-rich vegetable. Wash, chop and cook in a fry pan w/ some olive oil and a bit of fresh garlic. When cooked, blend with asiago cheese. (mmmmmmm!) You might combine it with some pasta and tuna fish or lean hamburg/ground turkey. You could also try mixing some tuna fish or small pieces of lean, ground beef with his grilled cheese sandwich. Maybe your doctor could prescribe a supplement?

About an inch or so of oil will do. Enough to cover the tortilla. When the oil is hot enough, dip 1 or 2 tortillas into the oil with the tongs and hold them there about 3 or 4 seconds. How do you tell if the oil is hot enough? The best way to tell is to dip a tortilla into the oil and see if it bubbles. Once you dip the tortillas in the oil for 4 seconds or so, place them onto a paper towel-covered plate. This will help absorb the excess oil. Place another paper towel on top to absorb that oil as well. Now you are ready to fill your tacos. You will want to work quickly at this point because the tortilla will tend to cool off quickly. With a slotted spoon, put a scoop of hot beef onto the tortilla. Add lettuce, tomatoe and cheese, in that order. What? Your Taco Wo not Stay Closed? Once your tacos are filled, fold the tortilla in half. If you noticed that they do not want to stay folded and want to pop open, I have a couple of ideas for you. This could be the biggest challenge of this soft taco recipe. Here are a couple of ways to fix that. One way is to use toothpicks. You just stick toothpicks through the top of the tacos. Just make sure you warn your eaters in case they do not notice the toothpicks. The second way is to add sour cream and/ or guacamole. These additions act as a sort of "glue" if you will. The tortillas stick to it and stay closed. End of problem! This soft taco recipe is perfect severed with refried beans and rice. Let's not forget to add a little salsa too! *burrito Note: This recipe is especially for pregnant and breastfeeding women, but it can be a nutritious part of almost anyone's diet.
