I dropped my bread on the floor that was just cleaned with a cleaning product. It was dry already. I smelled the bread and didnu2019t smell like the cleaning product so I ate it. Should I be worried?

I suppose it depends on the floor. Is it in a public place? How many people had walked on that floor between the time it was cleaned and the time you dropped your bread on it. Was is a bathroom floor? Was the toilet used after the floor was washed but before you dropped your bread?Frankly, I live in an city that is loaded with bacteria and parasites and just even breathing the dusty air will load my body with these bugs. If I dropped a piece of bread on my floor I wouldnu2019t think twice about picking it up and eating it, if my floor had just been washed. If it had butter on it, I might consider not eating it in case some debris or dog hair happened to be on the floor that the floor washing had missed. And for your information, the 10 second rule has been debunked.I dropped my bread on the floor that was just cleaned with a cleaning product. It was dry already. I smelled the bread and didnu2019t smell like the cleaning product so I ate it. Should I be worried?

How do I get rid of a pee stain?

The vinegar will work as a disinfectant.let it soak in.it's also a deodorizer. So is the baking soda. After doing all that.you can rid the smell or any traces by ordering a product called Odorcide from Amazon.com.excellent product for ALL kinds of foul odors (recommended by hospitals and vets).for fire, smoke, mildew, etc, too. It's concentrated and a little goes a long way. Leaves a light fresh scent. .but smell will be totally gone.

I smell like fart, what should I do?

Use a deodorant soap, make sure you wash everywhere. If that does not help, try soaking in a bubble bath. Use a deodorant/anti-perspirant, not simply a deodorant under your arms. Smell inside your shoes. If they have an odor, wear some that have been sitting a few days to air out. Use deodorant foot powder. Change your laundry detergent and fabric softener. Sometimes the smells from your laundry can combine with your own body chemistry to create a new scent. .and it is not always a pleasant one.

How can I get rid of my house smell to make it fresh, or odorless?

The simplest thing is white vinegar in a trigger mister bottle and spray the fabrics(drapes, couches, rugs and the like and generally into the air. The vinegar odour will linger for a bit and then disappear taking the offending odours with it. While it is not a "new" smell, the odours are gone. If you want the "new" house smell, paint the walls with latex egg shell(in which you add a dozen drops of vanilla extract to a gallon of paint.)and paint the bedrooms, hallway, dining and living room with it. In the kitchen and bath and laundry use alkyd paint(oil based)low sheen paint instead. Also if the doors are painted with paint, use alkyd semi gloss. Same paint for the door frames and window frames as well and wood cabinetry that has paint. Alkyd is a tougher paint and stands up better to the greater amount of cleaning you will do in these areas. When have you wiped down a bedroom wall compared to wiping off a door, or cabinet door. Anyways that stronger paint odour from alkyd is what you smell in a new house. HOWEVER do not use TURPENTINE as a thinner. It just stinks. Use varsol or even better odorless paint thinner(which is varsol but not as smelly). All this noise about oil paints are not as good or as long lasting as latex is a sales ploy for the most part. Harmful to the environment? Maybe so, but they use to put mercury in latex paint to stop mold from growing. Now it is antifreeze instead. Besides, I painted my bathroom 30 years ago and it is still fine. Maybe latex will last half that length of time before it needs a recoating. Your choice

How to Get Rid of Smell in a Couch?
There is a product called O do ban sold at Wal Mart that works well for bad odors. Also baking soda sprinkled on the couch and then allowed to sit will absorb most odors you just vacuum it off after 24 hours and repeat if needed. The rug doctor is a good idea but if it has a scotch guard protector using it will remove the protector and it will have to be reapplied if you want scotch guard on the couch. Anyway hope this helps. Sitting it out in the sun is a great idea but is labor intensive as you have to move it out and back in the house. Also you need to protect if to keep neighborhood or any pet from sleeping on it when its outside. Happened to me I put a nice clean chair outside and the cat from next door sleep on it and it was very dirty etc. Hope this helps.1. more popular?? Black or brown leasther couch?Black - Modern Brown-Classic Since I have a black leather lounge, chairs and furniture, I would say black.2. getting smoke smell out of a used couch??????nice picnice picnice picnice picnice picnice pic3. My husband sleeps on the couch, what's wrong? You have sex every day; maybe he is afraid that if he comes to bed, you are going to expect it at night also. Just a thought4. Have you ever reupholstered a couch?Yes I have. Good for you that you want to do it! If it's not too dirty/lumpy/gross, sewing a slip cover is easier, and you can wash the slipcover in your washing machine IF you pre-shrink the fabric. To reupholster it: - Just take it apart and put it back together the same way it came apart. - Use a felt tip marker to mark on the old pieces like "left inner arm" and so on. I also drew "UP" arrows on pieces. That can really help cut down on the confusion. - Use the old pieces as patterns to cut out the new pieces. Cut your new ones a little more generously than the old ones, as you may need the room. Note that if you add more padding, you will need more fabric to cover the sofa. - If you buy a very thick fabric, and especially if you want to do welting (cording), you are likely to find that your sewing machine refuses to sew that much thickness. This is an argument for getting thinner fabric or a tougher sewing machine. - Sit on the sofa before you tear it apart. Does it feel hard under your fanny? Needs more soft padding on the seat. Does it feel soggy and like your knees are coming up under your chin? Needs denser padding on the seat. Does it give you good back support? If not, add a little more padding in the small of your back (your waistline). - If the arms are too fat, you can make them skinnier. If they are too skinny, you can make them fatter. It's all in adjusting the padding. - Joann's Fabrics has all sorts of foam, padding, and supplies. There is a special staple puller for doing upholstery that only costs about $3.00 and it is wonderfully helpful. I also use needlenose pliers and sometimes wiggle a flat screwdriver under a staple or tack. Be careful not to slip and gouge a hole in your hand. Keep a no-tip container nearby to drop in all your staples and tacks (you do not want baby or puppy eating them). - You might find foam cheaper at a foam shop - eBay has wonderful deals on fabric and on upholstery supplies. Check them out for sure. - You need to pull fabric sections tight enough. It often helps to have one person pull the fabric while another staples. - I can not for the life of me figure out why men want to use heavy, noisy air compressors, no matter what my son says. An electric stapler will not cost you much and you will love it. Enjoy! Once you know how to do it, you will never be intimidated by it again. A sofa is a big job in that it will take you time. But it will save you many hundreds of dollars to do it yourself, and it's true green recycling.
